MY STORY

I know this because I spent the first decade of my career using those exact tools. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in psychometrics. I trained under the Head of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta Hospital, profiling individuals using advanced psychological and intelligence testing to assess decision-making, risk
tolerance, and leadership capacity.
I later brought this work into the corporate sector, profiling executive candidates for selection and development. Before that, I was a Registered Nurse, which sharpened my ability to read human stress responses, emotional patterns, and how people perform under pressure.
On paper, I had everything required to assess people accurately. I kept noticing the same pattern.
Exceptional candidates. Strong resumes. Excellent first impressions. Impressive interviews. But six months later I saw cultural disruption, team friction and power struggles no traditional test had predicted.
